Burgundy Fedora Kinda Day

Fedora has always been my favourite kind of hat to wear, and yes, even in the Winter.

It just effortlessly brings out a sharp and chic look without having to try too hard.  Funny thing is that I have no idea why every time when I put on a fedora hat, I just instantly feel like I’m having a super power. Haha

我总是对Fedroa这种帽子非常钟意，甚至是寒冷的冬天，我也不能罢手。戴上这种由西部牛仔帽改编和摩登化的帽子很自然地就能展现出一种帅气十足又时尚可人的感觉。并且啊，不知道为什么，我每次戴上这种帽子，就感觉自己具有特别功力。哈哈

Wearing a varsity jacket on top of an over-sized coat has been a big hit on many runways this Fall/Winter.

At first, I could not imagine myself wearing this style as the layering seemed like the outfit was inside out. But then, I thought to myself: hey, you never try and you will never know. So I put on my varsity baby and warm over-sized coat just for fun. Oh my, I instantly fell in love with this effortlessly edgy style! And by adding a fedora hat, I just feel that I'm the coolest girl in the world!! haha

把棒球夹克穿在大衣外面在今年秋冬季的T台上大放光彩。一开始，我并不敢尝试这种搭配，感觉就像把穿衣服的先后顺序弄错了。不过后来当我尝试把它穿上身后，立刻爱上了这种新鲜的搭配方式。而且啊，它俩在一起的隔风能力还很强呢。这再次证明了一点，做什么事情只有尝试了才知道。

Well, I personally think a cute and warm turtle neck sweater is definitely a versatile and must-have piece that can help you make the transition easily from Fall to Winter and to Spring, and even from a work day to a night out.

想必亲们都会烦恼在这个酷冷的冬天要穿什么才会既要风度，又注重温度呢。我个人觉得啊，一件可爱又保暖的高领毛衣绝对不可少。它不仅能伴随你温暖入秋冬，能帮你顺利地过渡到春天，还是一件非常不错的从白天到夜晚的单品选择呢。




Tulle skirt has always been my favourite as it’s just so dreamy and feminine. But who says it can only be worn in a shinny Summer day? I think the fun part about fashion is that there is no rule whatsoever, so as long as you can wear an outfit to showcase your unique personality, then that’s all it matters.  What are your thoughts on this?

My Virtual Closet (Part 1)

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday! I'm just saying a quick hello and hope you are fighting off the Winter Blues. If Santa Clause was real, I would beg him for a warmer and brighter winter this year!

Although I do highly appreciate many beautiful designer pieces, but sometimes either they are over my budget or not available in Canada, so I'd purchase them with my mind and put them in my virtual closet. During this holiday season, I will share some stunning items (at least I think so) with you in separated parts. If you have the budget, I'd say pull the trigger and go for it. But if you are just like me, well, we don't have to owe something to be able to appreciate it. Right? Okay, let's get started. As you may know, light pink will be a very big hit this Spring. So why not now let this warm and cozy colour lighten up your closet (or virtual closet)?

Lotus Leaf SS14 Preview + Holiday Shopping Guide

Hi everyone,

Happy Monday! Finally, Mr. S and I have moved to our new home in Toronto. YEAH!!

Although the process was quite stressful (packing, moving, unpacking, organizing...), the result is definitely pleasant. Since we were occupied with the move, we are a little bit behind the blog post schedule.  However, hopefully we are right on time to share some holiday goodies with you. 

We were very excited to be invited to Lotus Leaf Communications' PressDays at the end of November to take a sneak peek to the Spring/Summer Collections from brands like Guess, MinkPink, Rain Drop, and many more. It was definitely a very warm atmosphere with cupcakes and snacks, and most importantly, was full of goodies that would be available this Spring.  Want to skip Winter? I know I do!

周一愉快！我和S先生总算搬到我们的新窝啦。开心！

尽管搬家的过程比较痛苦（打包，搬运，再拆包，整理。。。），结果绝对是值得的。不过，正因为这次搬家，我们有点跟不上博客的原先计划了。但愿能赶上时间来跟你们分享一些过节可以购买的好东西吧。

At first, our eyes were in treat with all the beautiful watches. Oh my! They are not just simply a watch, but a statement accessory that could bring you from an office work day to a night out. To be honest, I've never heard about the store WatchIt before this event. But now, it is 100% on my top 5 watch shopping go-to list. Whether you are looking for a practical watch, a luxurious accessory, or even just a minimal piece, you will find the right one just for you. Well, I've already picked mine, though I'm keeping it as a secret for now till I purchase it this Spring. Haha  

最开始，我们被各种表看花了眼。我的天，这些不仅仅是手表而已，还是非常特别的首饰，可以伴你从白天的上班族生活一直延续到晚上的夜生活呢。老实说，在这个活动前，我对WatchIt的这个店铺一点都不熟，不过，在今晚过后，我已经把它列为我购买手表的头五大店铺之一了。他们家有麦克.科尔斯，化石，老佛爷系列，尼克森等等。无论你是想要一款实用型的手表，一款高档名表，还是简约派的，你都可以找到那块属于你的。我呢，已经选好了自己想要的。暂时保密，等明年春天买了，再告诉你们吧。哈哈

Henkaa's collection was no doubt under the spot light during the PressDays. Famous for its convertible dress, the brand is successfully making its way to make everyday women happy and beautiful. A simple dress can be worn in over 20 ways. Can you believe that? Well，I didn't, till I watched its tutorial video online (well, I still couldn't believe my eyes). It’s purely magical and creative!

Henkaa的系列在当晚绝对吸引了不少眼球和注意。这个以多变裙子出名的品牌已经将美丽和快乐成功地带给了普通的女性朋友们。一条看似简单的裙子却可以有超过20多种不同的穿法。你能相信吗？在我看他们网络上的教学之前，我就不太敢相信。不过，看了之后，还是不敢相信自己的眼睛。真的非常神奇，有创意！

As usual, Manitobah Mukluks's shoes effortlessly offer the warm and cozy feel. Just by looking at them, I already could picture myself wearing them walking in a snowy day (I know, I love day dreaming).
