Artdeco 2014 Miami Summer Collection

To be honest, I had never heard of Artdeco till I met Lisa from Punch Communications a few weeks back. She asked me if I'd like to give this Germany's leading makeup brand a try. I kindly agreed. And after I came home and did some research, I found out this multi-award winning brand is now represented in over 70 countries, including Canada, and many Asian counties, like China and Korea. They also have plenty of innovative products and offers customers a high-end result with an affordable price. 

老实说，我以前从来没有听说过雅寇这个牌子，直到最近在一个活动上遇到了Punch公司的Lisa。她问我想不想试试这个德国数一数二的高端化妆品牌。我欣然答应了。当我回到家在网上查了查之后才发现，原来雅寇这个获得过很多奖的国际品牌已经在超过70个国家有代理了，包括加拿大，以及中国和韩国在内的许多亚洲国家。他们同时还有许多创新产品并拥有适中的售价和高端品牌的效果。

Although many online reviews indicated that Artdeco has a lot of signature products, such as their Eyeshadow base, the Mineral Fluid Foundation, and more, I can't tell you my opinion since I haven't tried those products yet. However, I did get to try out some beautiful cosmetics from their 2014 Miami Summer Collection and the Perfect Teint Concealer.  

The all in one liquid liner is quite nice. I really love how soft the brush is. I'm not even kidding. When putting the eye liner on, I felt that my eye lid was getting a great massage.  

尽管很多网上的评论都认为雅寇有很多不可多得的明星产品，比如他们家的亮眼光彩护底霜和矿物粉底液等，但因为我自己没试过，所以我不想加以评论。不过呢，我可以分享一下我使用过的这几个产品。

他们家的all in one眼线液还真挺不错的。刷毛特别的细致。不怕你笑话，我在涂的时候，感觉是在给自己的上眼皮按摩呢。

If you are looking for a heavy and flawless coverage, the Teint Concealer might not be for you as it offers a fairly natural and lighter effect. 

如果你喜欢那种非常厚重的遮瑕效果的话，这款遮瑕笔恐怕就不太适合你了。它比较轻盈，涂上感觉比较自然。

Last and also my favourite from their Miami Collection is the all in one mascara. First of all, it's a limited edition (The fact that it won't be available forever makes me want it more). And secondly, it really offers a long-lasting and luminous effect.

最后呢，想介绍我最终爱的产品，那就是限量版all in one睫毛膏啦。它涂上后非常持久，而且也相当浓密。 

The whole Miami collection was available in select Shoppers Drug Mart locations from the end of June. I will definitely get my hands on more Artdeco products.

Beauty Review- Anna Sui Loose Powder

Hi all,

Today, I'd like to share with you a classic star product that has captured thousands of fans' hearts- Anna Sui Loose Powder.

Although it may not be as popular in North America as in Asia, Anna Sui would always be one of the most important childhood highlights and memories of mine. When I was in high school, every girl wanted to own an Anna Sui product- from the beauty mirror, dolly girl perfume, lipsticks, foundations to eye shadows. 

Even though many of Anna Sui's products were on my shopping list, loose powder was always THE one that I truly desired to try. However, I couldn't afford it. Until last week, this Anna Sui dream was paused for few years. That childhood memory was awaked again when I saw Anna Sui's beauty counter at The Bay. Then, I pulled the trigger this time.

今天我想跟大家分享一下我在使用了明星产品－安娜苏蜜粉之后的一些心得。亚洲女孩对于安娜苏这个牌子应该并不陌生。我记得早在我上高中时，这个品牌的东西就已经风靡整个亚洲了。无论是他们家的洋娃娃香水，还是魔镜等化妆工具系列都可谓是每个女孩梦寐以求的产品啊。尽管当初我对很多安娜苏的化妆品都想下手，但是最令我欲罢不能的还是他们家的蜜粉。不过我当初买不起，所以就先把这个安娜苏的梦搁置了。直到上个星期当我在Bay商场看见他们家的专柜时，这种儿时的回忆又油然而生。于是，我把它纳入了囊中。

The new and improved formula provides a double soft-focus effect with a well-moisturized finish which not only can offer a lighter touch, but also be able to get rid of that yellow-ish skin tone. One more thing I LOVE about is its signature scent which is magnificently refreshing and unique.  

这个经过改良后的蜜粉不仅拥有更加细致的质地还会给肌肤带来应有的滋润。当我把它涂上脸后，感觉皮肤立刻变得更加透亮了，而且那种蜡黄的肤色也没有那么明显了。还有，他们家出了名的香味异常的清新。涂得过程中可令人享受了。

Although this product is a little bit pricy ($48 CAD), I have to say it's totally worth it.  Now it's official- my Anna Sui obsession is back! 

（F.Y.I. If you are wondering why my cat Yoda is in the last picture, it's because he kept bugging me when I was taking this set of photos. So I figured to invite him to the photo shoot! He is totally a camera whore! Cheese...）

Nail Makeover with Revlon Marchesa Beauty Tools {+GIVEAWAY}

I have a confession to make. Even though this is a fashion and beauty blog, as you may have noticed, the content is mostly on the fashion side. MaskerAide Sheet Masks Review

I've been on the hunt for the perfect sheet mask for a while, but haven't found the ideal products till recently when Charming Media asked me to give MaskerAide's masks a try.

I have to admit that I absolutely fell in love with the creamy and rich texture of their masks and the fresh and hydrated feeling after the use. During fashion week, I was busy with work by day and hitting the runways at night. So not only my body felt exhausted, so did my skin. These masks really came in handy to combat the tired-looking skin while keeping it hydrated. 

我自从来到加拿大以后就一直在找最好用的面膜，但是一直没有找到。直到最近有人寄了几张Maskeraide的面膜让我试试，我才感觉总算是找到了那个完美的他。 哈哈。我不得不承认他们家的面膜真的很好用，质地很清爽，也很容易吸收。再加上用完之后感觉脸部的水分被锁住了，非常紧绷和滋润。就在上个星期的时装周期间，我不仅白天要上班晚上还要参加各场时装秀，整个人累倒不行，肌肤也明显缺水。不过在使用了他们家面膜之后，脸部的水分都感觉更加充足了，就想充了电一样。

They have six different types- from lighter serum-texture masks to heavier ones that can be used right before bed . So whether you are looking for an insistent beautiful recover or a weekly/daily beauty routine, I think you could find the perfect ones just for you. I personally really enjoyed ALL NIGHTER as it's not as thick and so can be used in my daily routine after cleanser and toner. 

他们家总共有六款面膜：有像精油一样比较轻盈的也有专门在睡觉前使用的比较厚重的。反正无论你是想要一款能给你的肌肤带来及时效应的还是准备每天／每周来充电的，我都相信你能找到那款最适合你的。我个人比较喜欢 all nighter这款，因为它比较轻盈，所以可以加入到每天的护肤程序中，在洗完脸，涂完爽肤水之后适用。

If I have to pick on one thing that I'm not satisfied with, then I'd say it would be the cost. $5.99 for a mask doesn't break your wallet, but it does add up. If I choose to use it twice a week, I will end up spending almost $50 a month... But, spending triple the amount at a salon might just get you the same result. So having this mind, spending $50/month doesn't seem as much anymore. Don't you think?

如果一定要挑毛病的话，我必须说我还是感觉有点贵了。一张面膜虽然还不到六块钱而已，但是如果我每个星期用两张的话，一个月下来就差不多要花五十块在这上面了。但是啊，如果去美容院的话，可能需要花费好几倍多的钱，也不一定有更好的效果。

"That Gal" Face Primer gotta be one of my most favourite products from Benefit. Not only its lovely strawberry smell could lighten up your morning blues, but the silky texture could really smooth your face and get it ready for the next step. When I don't feel like putting too much make-up on, I'd just wear a BB cream on top of this primer. And trust me, the result is unbelievable.

I'm not really a heavy-duty foundation girl, so this Flawless Oil-free Foundation and Cover-up Powder perfectly work for me. 

因为我平常不太喜欢涂太厚的粉底和粉饼，所以这款贝玲妃的无暇系列特别适合我。涂上脸还是感觉相当轻盈的。

I have been living and loving this Benefit "They are Real" Mascara for the past couple of weeks. As I don't have long and thick eyelashes, this mascara really does its job after 2 or 3 coats.
这段时间我一直都在用这款睫毛膏。由于我没有很浓密，翘长的睫毛，这款睫毛膏细致的头部很易适用，涂了两三层后，会很明显地感觉到睫毛变长了。嘻嘻

Benetint and Dandelion Blush are my all-time fav. and the secrete weapons to a healthier looking skin.
相信很多亲都对贝玲妃的玫瑰胭脂水和蒲公英粉不陌生吧。你不仅可以涂在两颊，而且还可以涂嘴唇，甚至是全脸。能让你的脸有宝宝般晶莹透亮的感觉。总之，皮肤看起来嫩嫩的啦。

Chinese New Year is all about the shade of RED. How can I resist this colour that represents luck, passion and celebration? So I choose to emphasize my lip by using the magical Revlon ColorBurst Lip Balm.
