Triple Layers with Light Colours

Hi everyone, happy Tuesday!

Fall/Winter seasons are generally associated with darker colours, like black, grey or brown. However, I've decided to go for a different path by putting on my tan leather jacket and pink skirt. :)

I fell in love with this Zara jacket at first sight, however, it was a bit pricy so I had to put it back to the rack (with a sad face). Later during their Summer Sale, I saw this jacket again and it was only 1/4 of its original price, so I grabbed it without any hesitation and was very happy like getting a Christmas present.

秋冬季一般会与比较深色的衣服联系在一起，像黑色，灰色，或者褐色。但是，我决定走一条不同寻常的路，把我的奶油色皮衣和粉红色短裙穿上身。当我走进Zara店里的时候，我立刻被这件皮衣吸引了，但是由于它有点贵，所以我不得不把它放回衣架上（很不情愿）。在他们今年夏天促销时，我又再次与这件皮衣相逢，并且它减价到只有原价的四分之一。我毫不犹豫买了它，高兴得就像拿到圣诞节礼物一般。

World MasterCard Fashion Week- Day 5 (Part One)

Hi everyone,

Happy Monday! I know World MasterCard Fashion Week has ended few weeks ago, but it's never too late to appreciate all the beautiful collections, right? :)

The truth is that Mr.S and I have been super sick with some nasty flu that seemed will never go away...coughing, headaches, running nose..not fun, not fun! We have tried all kinds of "medicine": Tylenol, hot tea with honey, sleep, hot tub... 

It's finally gone after almost two weeks of misery!

Okay, let's get back to the Fashion Week. The last day of fashion week was packed with amazing shows and beautiful surprises. 

Stephan Caras's SS'14 collection showcased feminism and sophistication to its fullest. Without any reservation, pearls were the highlights throughout the whole collection. White, black and pink were the three main colours to embrace this coming Spring.

周一好！我知道加拿大国际时装州已经过去好几个星期了，但是欣赏美丽的时装应该还不迟吧？ ：）

事实上，S先生和我在这段时间一直生病，得了流感，那个痛苦实在难以形容。咳嗽，头痛，鼻涕眼泪的。。。可以说，我们尝试了各种“灵丹妙药”：Tylenol， 热茶加蜂蜜，美人觉，泡温泉。。。过了将近两个星期才结束了我们的痛苦！

好吧，回到加拿大时装周来。时装周的最后一天可以说排满了精彩的秀场并充满了美丽的惊喜。 Stephan Caras 的14年春夏系列将女性化和优雅展现到了极致。珍珠毫无保留地贯穿了整个系列。白色，黑色，粉红色也是这个系列地三个重点色，这也将完美地迎合春天吧。

What I've learnt from attending fashion week was that it's essential to wear something trendy and unique yet having to sacrifice comfort (as we had to walk around talking to people and interviewing make-up artists and designers.)

在参与时尚周的这段经历让我学到：穿衣服不但要潮且有个性，而且一定要舒服，因为我们需要到处去与别人沟通社交，同时还要采访美化师，设计师等等。

I was very honoured to be invited backstage to chat with Maybelline Lead Makeup Artist Grace Lee, and many beautiful models. Honestly, the backstage was quite chaotic, but craziness was the factor that led to excitements. I asked Grace: "Normally, how long does it take you to finish a model's makeup?" She answered: "Time is the biggest enemy backstage. I wish I could have more time, but I have to finish one look within 10-15 minutes."

我非常荣幸地被邀请到后台去采访美宝莲的首席化妆师，Grace Lee，并能与许多模特聊天。实话说，后台确实是一片混乱，但正是因为这种疯狂，才会有激情与刺激。我问Grace：“通常你要花费多长时间帮一个模特化妆呢？” 她回答：“在后台，时间是我们最大的敌人。我希望我有更多的时间，但我一般在一个模特身上只能花费10到15分钟。”

GUESS Spring/Summer 2014 Preview

Hi all,

Happy Hump Day! YEAH, we are half way through the week. :)

Mr. S and I attended GUESS's SS14 preview at The Spoke Club on King street last night. Not only the wine and snakes were quite pleasant,  so were the cloths, bags, shoes and accessories. As always, Guess's SS14 collections will still be super sexy and feminine, but this time, will have a more edgy and vintage flavour to it. Many regular Spring/Summer trends, like floral, denim shorts, or bright shirt, will be found in the collection, while plenty of Fall/Winter trends, such as denim on denim, black on black...will still be carried on.

One more thing. Oh my, the shoes collection were very attention grabbing!! I couldn't keep my eyes away from those gorgeous pairs during the preview. They will definitely on my next coveting list. :)

星期三快乐！YEAH，这个星期终于过了一半。 ：）

我和S先生昨晚参加了在King 街上的The Spoke Club 举行的GUESS 2014春夏服装发布会。当晚，不仅红酒和零食增加了气氛，还有那些衣服，包，鞋子和首饰，实在很令人开心啊。正如Guess一贯走的性感女人味路线，明年的春夏系列还是会充满了性感的味道，不过，却加入了更多帅气和复古的元素。许多春夏一般都会流行的元素，像是碎花，丹宁短裤，和亮色的衣服等，都会在这个系列里出现，不过，像一些今年秋冬流行的丹宁搭丹宁，黑配黑等，都会继续在GUESS的春夏系列里出现。

需要提到的是，这个系列的鞋子！天哪，实在太有魅力了。在昨晚的发布会上，我简直无法转移我的视线。他们绝对排在了我接下来的购物单上了。

This red bag won my heart! It's a very cute yet practical piece that can easily be carried from day to night. :)

这个红色的小包拢获了我的心。它看起来很可爱，也很实用，可以从早上一直背到晚上。 ：）

World MasterCard Fashion Week- Target

Hi everyone,

Happy Monday! While writing this post, I'm actually siting in the Oakville Public Library and taking in the scenery of fall. People jogging, leaves turning colours, sunshine falling on buildings...a beautiful vivid photo right in front of me. I have to admit that Fall, a season full of colours, is definitely my favourite. :) 

嗨，亲们，

周一愉快！我现在正坐在Oakville的图书馆里写这篇文章，同时也在欣赏窗外的景色。(别笑，此刻的我，确实感觉很诗意！) 慢跑的人们，飘落的树叶，以及照在楼房上的一缕阳光，使得在我面前的这一切简直像是一幅活灵活现的图画。不得不承认，秋天，这个充满了色彩的季节，是我最喜欢的。

Target's runway show was surely one of the best and most unique in 

World MasterCard Fashion Week. Just like its name, the show successfully targeted its audiences and won their hearts. Many happy laughs and "AWWW" sound could be heard throughout the show. The fun and relaxing atmosphere was definitely unbeatable. It unveiled its Winter Collection that are mostly already available in stores. 

Target的T台秀绝对是本次加拿大时装周最精彩的一场之一。正如其名，它确实拢获了观众的心。许多开心的笑声和可爱的赞叹声都能在整场秀上听见。一种愉悦，活泼的气氛使得这场非同一般的秀另人难以抗拒。它展示的秋冬装几乎都已经可以在店里购买了。

Of course, the famous Target dog was the most important and pleasant highlight of the night. He/she walked on the runway just like a regular model, with no shy but pride. :)

当然，整晚最精彩的片段则要数当Target的知名犬登场的时候啦。它在T台上走起来毫无羞涩，充满了自信。：）
